Dan Rayfield To Hold First Community Coffee

CORVALLIS – Dan Rayfield, the Democratic candidate for Oregon House District 16, will kick off a series of community coffees this Saturday, May 24. Rayfield will hold community coffees at New Morning Bakery on the first and third Saturdays of each month until the November election.

The community coffees will give voters the opportunity to meet Rayfield, hear about his priorities, and share their thoughts and concerns.

“I want to use this time to listen my neighbors in Corvallis and Philomath and learn about the issues that matter most to them,” Rayfield said.  “I want to start building relationships so we can work together during legislative sessions on issues that will impact our community.”

Dan Rayfield is the only Democrat running for Oregon House District 16, which includes Corvallis and Philomath. The Democratic incumbent, Rep. Sara Gelser, is stepping down at the end of her current term to challenge Republican Betsy Close for the District 8 seat in the state Senate.
