CORVALLIS – Representative Dan Rayfield (D-Corvallis) will host a four-part forum series covering various legislative issues this summer. Each forum will feature local and statewide political leaders and experts for each topic to educate and answer questions from the community.
“We value the engagement and input of our community,” said Rayfield. “This is an opportunity for our community to learn more about the topics they care about, and in the process become more engaged.”
The legislative forum series will provide a broad-based education on the topic area, give people an opportunity to ask questions, and share the values of the community with panelists.
“We’re looking forward to facilitating these discussions,” Rayfield said. “It’s important that we find ways to engage our community’s values and goals with the entire state of Oregon.”
The legislative forum series will take place at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library from 7:00pm – 8:30pm on the following dates: Health Care – June 12th, Education – July 2nd, Environment – August 14th, and Public Safety – September 11th.
